Periodic Table of the Elements
The following information is given for each element in the Periodic Table:
- Atomic Number - number of protons and electrons in atom
- Symbol - the symbol of the element
- Name - the name of the element
- Name Origin - how the element got it's name
- Type - Non Metal, Metal, etc.
- Atomic Mass - the element's mass in amu (atomic mass unit)
- Melting Point - in degrees Celsius
- Boiling Point - in degrees Celsius
- Neutrons - the number of neutrons in the atom
- Density - grams divided by centimeters cubed at 293 degrees Kelvin
- Crystal structure - the way the atoms are arranged
- Discovered - the year the element was discovered
- Discoverers - who discovered the element
- Other names - other names for the element
This Periodic Table displays each element's atomic number and symbol, along with either the element's name, atomic mass, melting point, boiling point, number of neutrons, density, or the year the element was discovered.
